Danielle Fuhrmann 

Danielle Fuhrmann grew up dancing with Monona Academy of Dance and Dance Wisconsin. She performed various roles in The Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardee and Coppelia. During summers she trained with Virginia School of the Arts and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. Danielle won Senior Outstanding Dancer from Paula Abdul’s competition Co. Dance and highest score overall for her Giselle variation at New York City Dance Alliance. Later, she moved to New York City where she trained with Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.

Professionally she has performed all over the Country. Some of her favorite credits include West Side Story (original Jerome Robbins Choreography), Guys and Dolls, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Annie, Cinderella and All Shook Up. Danielle had the opportunity to work with many notable director/choreographers such as: Phil McKinley, Chet Walker and Tony Stevens to name a few. She performed in nearly 20 different productions at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson where she felt most at home. Danielle also performed with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Magic and The Disney Wonder. She played various lead roles onboard including Cinderella in their award winning show Disney Dreams.

As a choreographer Danielle has had several of her pieces selected to be performed at Regional Dance America. She received the National Commissioning Award for her piece “Hallelujah” and attended the National Choreography Intensive. Danielle has also choreographed several shows for Children’s Theater of Madison. She is a sought after judge in the dance competition circuit and has judged for Imagine, Star Systems, Nexstar, Starpower and others. 

Danielle loves teaching and choreographing for Monona Academy of Dance and Dance Wisconsin. She feels blessed to be able to give back to the studio that gave her so much growing up! Danielle teaches ballet, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, and Pilates. She received her Pilates Mat certification in 2007 from Pilates on 5th in NYC. She is currently doing the 500 hour teacher training at Club Pilates and will be trained to teach on all Pilates apparatuses including reformer, Cadillac, chair and others. She will begin her apprenticeship with Club Pilates in June.
