Nikki Rounds

Nikki began her dance training at Monona Academy of Dance at the age of 3. Outside of Monona Academy of Dance summer intensives she attended the following intensive programs: Walnut Hill, Virginia School of the Arts, American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet in New York City, Charleston Ballet Theater and Steps on Broadway. In her youth she was a member of the MAD City Dancers and Dance Wisconsin. As a member of the MAD City Dancers she was awarded Senior Outstanding Dancer with New York City Dance Alliance - Chicago. As a member of Dance Wisconsin, Nikki was selected to perform with an elite group from the MidStates Regional Dance Festival at The International Ballet Competition.

Nikki went on to dance professionally with the Charleston Ballet Theater where she performed in The Nutcracker, Serenade, Swan Lake and more. She has also performed at The Fireside Dinner Theater in The Christmas Show. And she has performed the roles of Zaneeta in The Music Man, and Louise in Carousel at The Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in Fort Meyers Florida. From Florida she moved to Los Angeles where she studied at The Edge Performing Arts Center and was signed with Bloc Talent Agency.

Nikki is thrilled to be back in Wisconsin and teaching back where it all began at Monona Academy of Dance. Nikki teaches ballet, tap and jazz. She is also creating original choreography for the MAD City Dancers.
