Dancin’ Across the USA - Recital 2024

The recital and the dress rehearsal will be held at the McFarland Performing Arts Center located within McFarland High School. Seperate entrance at the rear of the high school. Drive past the high school on Farwell, take a right turn onto Exchange and continue until you come to a right turn into the back parking lot.

Dates:

  • Picture day is Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Madison location, 2605 South Stoughton Road Madison 53716. A schedule will be emailed late April 2024.

  • Dress Rehearsal Friday May 31, 2024 beginning at 4:30 PM. Performance order and arrival times to be emailed in early May. We will start with Pre Ballet 1 dancers at 4:30 PM and proceed primarily by level.

  • Dancin’ Across the USA - Saturday show - 2:00 PM - will include dancers from both the Madison and Sun Prairie locations as well as all the members of the MAD City Dancers. The MAD City Dancers will open and close the performance and some solo and competition dances will be included.

  • Dancin’ Across the USA - Sunday show - 2:00 PM - will include dancers from both the Madison and Sun Prairie locations as well as all the members of the MAD City Dancers. The MAD City Dancers will open and close the performance and some solo and competition dances will be included.

Tickets:

  • Tickets will go on sale April 29, 2024 via a google form submission sent by the studio (McFarland High School no longer supports tickets sales for outside groups). The google form will also be available here starting on April 29, 2024 as well.

  • How will the google form submission work?

    • Individuals or families will fill out the Google Form requesting seat assignments. There will be a spot to indicate any special seating needs and to indicate your preferred section of the theater you wish to be assigned.

    • An invoice will be issued via the studio Quickbooks in the order the forms are received.

    • Seat assignments will be assigned once the ticket invoice is paid and when the dancer’s academic year invoices are paid in full. Exceptions being the studio runs an automatic payment for your dancer and the payment is scheduled for a later date in May or you regularly make your own payments via Quickbooks on time for a date later in May. (Dancers without approved payment plans will not be allowed to participate in the recital performances or purchase tickets.) Questions please email mononaacademyofdance@gmail.com.

    • Seat assignments will be emailed once the assignments are made which is after the ticket invoice and the academic year invoices are paid in full.

    • The emailed seat assignments will serve as your ticket to enter the theater and should be available on someone’s phone or printed and in hand.

  • Grandparents or other family members are welcome to fill out their own google form seat assignments. However, seat assignments cannot be gauranteed together unless ordered by one individual. Grandparent and individual family member form requests will not be filled if a dancer has an outstanding academic year balance.

  • The general public is welcome to attend. A studio run box office will open for in person ticket (seat assignments) 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance each day.

  • A ticket is required for everyone in attendance for safety and code purposes. Lap seat tickets will be available for children under the age of 3. Adults (18+) $19.50 + tax, Youth (3-17) $9.50 + tax and Lap Seats (2 and under) $1 + tax.
