Ms. Emily is an alumna of Monona Academy of Dance, MAD City Dancers, and Dance Wisconsin. As a Dance Wisconsin company member, she appeared in many New Works concerts, as well as productions of The Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardée, Coppelia, and Alice in Wonderland. She also made a recent return to Dance Wisconsin's stage during the spring ballet.

Emily found her love for teaching and choreographing while working as an emerging choreographer with Dance Wisconsin, choreographing for her school's Poms dancers and musicals. This passion led her to further hone her craft at the Glenda Brown Choreography Project at the University of Kansas City. After high school, she continued her dance education at UW-Whitewater, where she earned a contemporary dance scholarship. This opportunity allowed her to collaborate with choreographers from Western Michigan University and the University of California-Riverside. During her time at UW-W, she also served as a teaching assistant for the Contemporary and Flamenco dance classes during her sophomore and junior years.

Throughout her undergraduate studies, Emily taught ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and creative movement to children and adults in Whitewater. She also choreographed for the "Mary Poppins Returns" musical performed by the UW-Whitewater show choir.

Currently, Emily teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and acro at Monona Academy of Dance and works with both the MAD City and Dance Wisconsin Dancers. Outside of the studio, she is a full-time REALTOR® with Stark Company Homes, helping people buy and sell homes all over.
