Sign-up for Pop-ups
On select Fridays throughout the year, Monona Academy of Dance will be hosting pop-up classes with rotating instructors to give our dancers opportunities to develop new skills outside of their normal classes. Dancers do not need to be academic year students at Monona Academy of Dance in order to participate.

Matthew began dancing at the age of 16 at Monona Academy of Dance in Madison, Wisconsin. He went on to attend Oklahoma City University, where he earned a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance with a focus in tap, jazz, and ballet.
After graduating, Matthew spent four years performing abroad on luxury cruise liners with Princess Cruise Lines and Holland America Line. During this time, he had the opportunity to work with industry leaders such as RWS Entertainment Group (NYC) and Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz.
Currently, Matthew is entering his sixth year at Trilogy Dance Center, where his favorite style to teach is tap because of the creative ways rhythm can be expressed through sound. He also serves as the Artistic Director for Trilogy Hill Country’s competitive dance team, NVarsity Dance Company.
In addition, Matthew is the President and Director of Kairos Dance Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. He also runs his own photography business, Matthew Hunt Studios, specializing in dance photography, portraits, and headshots. His newest endeavor will take him across the country teaching contemporary dance with the convention Dance Revolution.
