For dancers interested in ballet, please select a class. If you wish to take ballet more than once a week, please indicate below in the comments. Dancers are encouraged but not required to take ballet twice a week in Levels II and up. Dancers that take pointe are required to take ballet twice a week.

For dancers interested in tap, please select a class. Dancers 5 and up encouraged to register.

For dancers interested in jazz, please select a class. Jazz is typically started/added at about 7 or older. Ballet is highly encouraged as a supplement as there is a crossover in some vocabulary and technique.

For dancers interested in hip hop, please select a class. Dancers 5 and up are eligible to take class. Team Hip Hop classes are for MAD City members only.

For dancers interested in modern, please select a class. Dancers in Level III and up are eligible to take modern.

This covers the rehearsal for our Mini Team on Tuesdays, and rehearsals for all Team members on Saturdays. MAD City Dancers are accepted to the competition team by audition in spring of the previous academic year. Team Dancers are REQUIRED to choose an option.

For MAD City Dancers that were casted in a Duet or Trio. This is built into the weekly schedule.

Private Lessons

For dancers interested in a year round, regularly scheduled private lesson. To focus on specific technical needs and/or learn a solo for recital (or competition if on the MAD City dancers). The office will contact you about your interest and if there are open slots based on your availibility. For drop-in privates, please schedule on our Pop-up/Drop-in page. *Solos may include additional costs.

Statement of Understanding

I hereby acknowledge that I am responsible for payment of all tuition based upon payment option selected below. All families must maintain a valid credit card on file for incidentals and/or late scheduled payments. Failure to meet payment criteria will result in your dancer not being allowed to participate in class, competition, costume distribution, picture day and/or the recital. I authorize Monona Academy of Dance to use my child's photo to promote or publicize the studio online or in print. I understand the physical demands and inherent risks involved in dance and guarantee the registered student to be in sound physical condition. I agree to hold Monona Academy of Dance LLC, its officers, agents and employees in both individual and official capacities, harmless from liability for injury, damage or loss to property or person as a result of participation in any Monona Academy of Dance LLC activities. I hereby agree that I will not send my dancer to class if they are exhibiting any COVID-19 or other flu like symptoms and/or severe cough. I acknowledge Monona Academy of Dance reserves the right to cancel any classes with inadequate enrollment. Enrollment with Monona Academy of Dance is August through June. Billing is done at the time of enrollment. Early withdrawals are not eligible for refunds for costume or recital deposits. Withdrawal notification for Term 2 is due on or before December 10, 2024. I have read, understand and will abide by the policies set forth in the Classes Tab of this website and by Monona Academy of Dance LLC. All policies are listed under the Classes Tab.
