All Monona Academy of Dance students will perform in the 77th annual recital at the McFarland Performing Arts Center. More information will be shared as recital time approaches, check the recital page for more details.

Dress Rehearsal will take place at the McFarland Performing Arts Center (within McFarland High School) on May 30 starting at 4:30pm. All dancers are required to attend Dress Rehearsal. Specific times you are expected to be there will be sent out in a newsletter via email from the studio.

Holy Cow! Spring Break went by fast and now we’re back to classes! We’ll see you in the studio this week, classes resume March 31.

Winter Break is over and we are back to classes at our Madison AND Sun Prairie locations. This begins Term 2 billing as well.

All muggles, witches, and wizards alike are invited to a magical evening right before Halloween! The characters of Harry Potter come alive and welcome you to an enchanting Wizarding World. Bring the family for food, games, and dancing for $10 a person on October 26th from 6:00-9:00pm. Costumes encouraged but not required. Hogwarts appears for only one night at 2605 S Stoughton Rd!

Proceeds benefit the non-profit, pre-professional dance company, Dance Wisconsin.

In the month of October, join Ms. Sarah for a yoga class on the evening of the 18th. What better way to wind down your busy week than with a yoga flow with friends? Prior experience in yoga is not required to attend.

Join Ms. Megan for a special class on floorwork. Join her for a series of floorwork exercises and coaching on how to improve your floorwork. Dancers will explore yielding weight into the floor, efficient pathways of movement, and brief moments of being upside-down.

Join Ms. Emily for an hour of practing cartwheels, handstands, somersaults, and more! Learn the safe and correct way to do acro with a certified instructor.

Monona Academy of Dance is the home to the pre-professional dance company, Dance Wisconsin. All dancers 7 and up (must be taking a ballet class once a week) are welcome to audition for The Nutcracker Ballet.
